Who are we?
We have worked with people in organizations for nearly 30 years by helping these people and organizations to successfully compete in global markets through developing themselves and their professional skills. Now our mother company Schouten & Nelissen Group is the largest training organization in Holland and one of the top in Europe. In 2008 Schouten & Nelissen has achieved annual sales revenue of more than 80 million Euros. Now we can offer more than 450 self-developed courses, with 50 books published every year.
In our well-developed training system, those “soft skills” courses which can help participants develop their potential, raise awareness of behavior, improve leadership and influence, and enhance teamwork are the core of our system. In these courses we focus more on helping participants change their behavior/habit to become more effective in work and life.
Our trainings are highly customized to meet the needs of our clients. In our training we focus more on individual development in his/her interpersonal competency and teamwork. Our cases and exercises are closely linked to real situations of the participants and those cases and exercises will be “generalized” under the guidance of our trainer so as to meet the needs of all participants. We believe in this unique experiential way of training and through application of classical psychology theory we can really help individuals and organizations explore and develop their potential toward higher performance and lasting competitiveness.

Message from Chief Executive Officer
Schouten China is still a young organization in China, regardless of the fact that our mother company, Schouten & Nelissen Group in Holland, has a successful history in Europe and other parts of the world for nearly 30 years and had achieved its annual revenue in Europe of more than 80 million Euros in 2008. Nevertheless, I am quite proud of the achievements we made in her short history: till now we have built a strong team with full time and freelance trainers to serve clients. Each of our trainers has been strictly certified by our half-year Training for Trainers program with an in-depth understanding of our unique training system and method. In the meantime, our client list is becoming longer and longer and our unique services are unanimously well received by each and every honorable client we served.
Like all of my colleagues in Schouten China, I have tremendous passion for the unique training service we provide in China. In helping our participants to become more effective through changing their behaviors (habits), we have witnessed the personal growth of our own team members and the improvement of our own team effectiveness. Assertiveness has become an integral part of our work and life, just like interacting and collaborating with people has become our new habits. I believe these new behaviors and habits will be the key factors leading to our future successes.
In 2009 we will localize more training programs to serve our clients, with more and more focus on customization. We will strengthen our uniqueness, that is, to help individuals and organizations to improve their effectiveness through behavioral changes. We aim to build long term partnership and a win-win relationship with our clients through helping them to improve their own problem solving skills.
